Bright Living Space Transformation

Project Overview
A three-bedroom family home in Miami that had not had a full reset in over two years. Daily surface cleaning kept the property presentable, but light fittings, skirting, window reveals and upholstery had quietly accumulated a film that dulled every room. HousEase was brought in to restore brightness across the whole living space rather than treat rooms in isolation. The work was scheduled across two consecutive days so no room had to be used while it was still drying.
The Challenge
The property faced south with large glazed areas, which made every remaining mark visible under direct light. Painted surfaces had been cleaned with the wrong products in the past and could not tolerate anything abrasive. The family also needed the kitchen and one bathroom to stay usable throughout, so the sequence had to be planned around them rather than the other way round.
Key Highlights
- Full-height glazing and frames cleaned inside and out
- Upholstery and soft furnishings treated on site
- Light fittings, vents and skirting detailed by hand
- Two-day sequence with the kitchen kept in service

Project Goals
The brief was to make the home feel brighter without redecorating anything. That meant lifting accumulated film from every surface that reflected or transmitted light, using products safe for previously mistreated paintwork. A second goal was to leave the household with a realistic maintenance rhythm so the same buildup would not return within the year.
Key Challenges
- Delicate paintwork ruled out abrasive methods
- South-facing light exposed every missed mark
- Kitchen and one bathroom had to stay in use
- Drying time had to fit around a family schedule
